The Blog to Transform Advanced Care

Advancing Care through Innovation, Observation and Collaboration.

“If we are to love our neighbors as ourselves, that means whatever we do in love must produce justice.”

As part of the Frontline Conversations series, C-TAC is virtually sitting down with faith leaders, health care providers, and others on the front lines of serious illness care during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In this edition, Elder Angela Overton, Senior Advisor to C-TAC’s Interfaith and Diversity Workgroup, discusses how she has supported her own community as well as other faith leaders during this crisis. She also shares her own personal connection to serious illness and her role as a family caregiver.

Supporting faith communities during the COVID-19 pandemic will be a major focus of the 2020 C-TAC Summit, happening from Oct. 27-30. Elder Overton will be a featured speaker during this virtual event. Learn more and register today by clicking here.

Angela is my mentor and my healer. I know her presentation at the C-TAC Summit will be a feather in C-TAC Cap. She is a seasoned, compassionate and knowledgeable speaker who speaks from experience and from the heart. She is a gift to her community and to all who have the privilege of knowing her.

I can’t wait to see her video
